Cloud AI charges by the word because every word costs them a GPU in a data center. Atlas thinks on your computer. So we charge a flat monthly price, and we never count your tokens.

Why no limits
We do not pay per token, so neither do you.
When a cloud company answers you, it pays for the GPU time, the power and the building. Heavy users cost them more, so plans come with caps, slowdowns and "try again later". When Atlas answers you, your own chip does the work. A long conversation costs us the same as a short one.

Before you ask.
How can you offer no token limits?
The model runs on your computer, not ours. We do not pay for GPU time when you use Atlas, so we have no reason to count your words.
What computer do I need?
The preview runs on Apple silicon Macs with 16 GB of memory or more. Windows and Linux versions are in development. Barx picks a model size that fits whatever machine you have, so smaller machines use smaller models.
Does anything go to the cloud?
Chat, voice, photos and video are processed on your machine, with no telemetry and no automatic cloud fallback. When you ask about live information, Atlas sends the search query to a search engine and reads the results.
What is a Studio session?
One Studio job: an Auto Cinematic edit, a photo Auto Enhance batch, or an image generation run. The Atlas plan includes two a day. Atlas Studio has no limit.
When can I buy?
Atlas is in preview and we are not taking payments yet. Join early access and we will email you when plans open.
